NECF receives licensure for three (3) new degrees from the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education

Boston, MA, 6.25.08

New England College of Finance has received licensing from the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education to offer:
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA)
  • Master of Science in Finance (MSF)
  • Master of Science in Business Ethics and Compliance (MSBEC)
With licensure, NECF is now authorized to offer these degrees.

The next step is to acquire accreditation for the new degree programs. The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) will be examining NECF's New Program Implementation Plans. When they are approved, NECF will implement the plans. This includes, among other things, scheduling and delivering courses for the three new degree programs. At a later date, NEASC will revisit NECF to examine the implementation and the student success. During this process the new degree programs will not be accredited; however, we fully expect that NECF will be accredited prior to any students completing the degree requirements. There are no guarantees that NEASC will approve the New Program Implementation Plans or that they will accredit the new degree programs.

New England College of Finance (NECF) celebrates 100 years as a recognized leader in industry-focused education. NECF provides high quality education and training for students interested in careers in business through degrees and career development certificate programs. We are accredited by New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and offer fully online programs in accounting, financial, banking, management and more.
